Whitefish Police calls from March 7-13:

Monday, March 7

12:42 p.m. A teenage boy on Colorado Avenue refused to get out of his grandmother’s car.

1:19 p.m. CDs were stolen from a vehicle on Barkley Lane.

2:02 p.m. Someone on Baker Avenue knocked over lawn furniture and was screaming profanities in the middle of the night.

4:51 p.m. A grandmother fended off a man’s attempt to take a young girl from a park. According to the caller, the man got out of his vehicle, opened his passenger door and started walking toward the girl. He was about 2 feet from the girl when the grandmother noticed what was happening. The man ran back to his maroon SUV to shut the door then started running down the bike path.

10:51 p.m. Report of a man who dropped his pants in front of a woman who was walking her dog on Baker Avenue.

Tuesday, March 8

2:49 a.m. A Colorado Avenue resident said her dog went crazy when a person walked by the house. She asked for extra patrol.

7:16 p.m. Report of a driver in a Jeep Wagoneer driving on medians in a parking lot on East 4th Street.

Wednesday, March 9

11:39 a.m. Report of a pickup with blankets covering the windows left idling at the hospital. A man was inside sleeping.

1:36 p.m. An unconscious woman on Highway 93 West was seen hanging out of a vehicle with the door open.

11:59 p.m. Report of suspicious teenagers hanging out in a parking lot on Highway 93 South. Nothing criminal was happening, but they were sent on their way.

Thursday, March 10

7:56 a.m. Someone put two locks on an O’Brien Avenue garage door.

11:23 a.m. A census worker on East 4th Street was asking questions about a resident’s credit.

4:37 p.m. A set of kitchen knives was found on Wisconsin Avenue.

Friday, March 11

12:37 p.m. A man told police his wife hit him in the face. He believed the incident was captured on video.

11:25 p.m. Report of a British man urinating on the back door of a bar. The man reportedly exposed himself to the bar bouncers and the public.

Saturday, March 12

1:05 a.m. Report of an intoxicated man trying to open to door to a liquor store downtown. Police reminded the man the store is closed.

1:57 p.m. A Dodge pickup was stolen from a car dealership in Highway 93 South.

6:02 p.m. Report of a disorderly man at the hospital. He attempted to fake a seizure.

6:40 p.m. A caller on West 6th Street said his son was not responding to his attempts to boot him out of the house.

Sunday, March 13

4:39 a.m. A woman told police that a man she met at the bar hit her in the face then locked her out of the house.
