Johnson and Blackburn to marry

Kirsten Blackburn and Sam Johnson are planning a September wedding surrounded by the beauty of Glacier National Park.
The bride is the daughter of Kelliann Blackburn, Reed Blackburn and Leslie Mercord. The groom is the son of Jay and Gens Johnson.
Kirsten graduated from Whitefish High School in 2007 and then received bachelor of science degrees in international business and finance from the University of Montana in 2011.
Sam hails from the neighboring gem state of Idaho, graduated from high school in Moscow, Idaho in 2006 and then earned a bachelor of science in geography from the University of Montana in 2011.
The couple has lived in Portland, Oregon for five years. On the weekends they adventure on rock and trail outside of the city, and during the week Sam is an associate team lead for a remote sensing company, and Kirsten manages philanthropic giving and activism for a local footwear company.
