Assault with bodily fluids documented
Whitefish Police calls from June 20-26:
Monday, June 20
7:51 a.m. Report of an assault with bodily fluids on Spokane Avenue. A woman allegedly threw feces at a man then took photos of him.
10:23 a.m. Trucks were using compression brakes through the construction zone on West Second Street.
10:32 a.m. A bag of needles was found in the lawn of a restaurant on Highway 93.
2:45 p.m. Police were called after two sketchy bald men with tattoos entered a store on Highway 93 South. No crime was committed.
3:45 p.m. A juvenile girl was cited for shoplifting downtown.
Tuesday, June 21
3:23 p.m. Transients were seen taking over an abandoned house near City Beach.
4:29 p.m. Seven transients were camping on the train trestle.
Wednesday, June 22
9:40 a.m. A semi-truck hit barricades and a streetlight on Baker Avenue,
1:04 p.m. A driver told police the construction traffic was a mess.
5:59 p.m. Report of a suspicious old man following three women walking on Skyles Place.
Thursday, June 23
7:04 a.m. A driver upset about the road work on Wisconsin Avenue flipped off the flagger and sped through the construction zone. He was given a verbal warning.
11:23 p.m. Report of a young mountain lion whining on River Lakes Parkway.
Friday, June 24
12:01 a.m. Two men attempting to enter a Lupfer Avenue home through a window were scared off by the resident. Police investigated and found that one of the men used to live at the home. He was intoxicated and his friend was trying to get him home. They were both warned about their behavior.
2:40 a.m. An intoxicated man lost on Woodside Avenue decided to lay down on a resident’s back porch. He eventually got home safely.
4:23 p.m. A woman causing a scene at a motel on Highway 93 South was upset about the room rates.
5:12 p.m. Report of transients living under the viaduct.
8:58 p.m. A woman admitted to using her grandmother’s handicap parking card to park downtown.
10:52 p.m. A man downtown told police he was jumped by a group of his friends who smashed his phone.
Saturday, June 25
12:46 a.m. No one wanted to tell police who started a fight downtown.
5:56 p.m. Report of a sexual assault on Spokane Avenue.
8:58 p.m. A hot rod was racing and burning out on Mill Avenue.
Sunday, June 26
3:42 p.m. A Spokane Avenue resident said a neighbor threatened her, her son and her dog.
9:03 p.m. Report of a driver in a black pickup throwing firecrackers at people on Spokane Avenue.
9:48 p.m. A Cedar Street resident told police about vehicles drag racing and running the stop sign.
