Monday, June 13
10:14 a.m. A disorderly and combative patient at the hospital ran out of the emergency room in his boxers and a gown. The man had just been rescued after falling into the river and was reportedly hypothermic.
4:46 p.m. Election signs were stolen from a yard on Scott Avenue.
5:44 p.m. A suspicious man was flying a drone over a church on Baker Avenue.
8:33 p.m. A resident reported a person in the ditch near the railroad tracks.
8:52 p.m. Report of a man abusing a woman and baby on Colorado Avenue. The man reportedly left the scene with the baby and dropped it off at another home.
10:34 p.m. An intoxicated man stumbling down Central Avenue was seen attempting to get into his vehicle. He then appeared to urinate on himself. The man’s keys were confiscated and he took a taxi home.
11:16 p.m. A Spokane Avenue resident complained about an upstairs neighbor intentionally dumping water on her furniture. The neighbor said she was just watering her flowers.
Tuesday, June 14
3:17 a.m. An intoxicated man banging on things and yelling on East 8th Street was advised to keep it down.
8:28 a.m. Report of a suspicious brown van parked at the library with the door open. It appeared the occupants were defecating in the parking lot.
5:41 p.m. Report of people brawling on Baker Avenue.
10:29 a.m. A baby deer without a mother was struggling to stand up in a yard on Parkway Drive. The caller was going to contact FWP.
11:57 p.m. People photographing the stars at City Beach boat launch were advised of the beach hours.
Wednesday, June 15
8:24 a.m. A fluffy white dog bit a jogger on Kalispell Avenue.
9:32 a.m. Two tents were stolen from a garage on Cedar Street.
10:49 p.m. An employee at a downtown store was allegedly stealing from the cash drawer.
11:15 p.m. A Spokane Avenue resident complained about marijuana smoke coming into his condo from a neighboring unit.
11:34 p.m. Report of a stolen pickup turned out to be friends playing a prank on the truck owner.
Thursday, June 16
12:32 a.m. People acting suspiciously were seen whispering and taking bags from a thrift store on Lupfer Avenue.
11:43 p.m. A paddleboarder on the Whitefish River told police about a log caught in the culvert under Columbia Avenue. Her paddleboard got caught on the log and was stuck. Police advised the woman about the inherent risks of being on the water and that the city didn’t have the resources to remove the log.
6:01 p.m. Transients were yelling at each other on Spokane Avenue.
Friday, June 17
1:37 a.m. A man said he was attacked by people he got a ride with. He was bleeding from the forehead. He also said his wallet and ID were stolen.
6:47 a.m. Report of a physical altercation at an apartment on Iowa Avenue. An intoxicated man allegedly strangled a woman.
12:15 p.m. A woman at the dog park was counseled about leaving her baby in the vehicle unattended with the windows cracked.
2:25 p.m. A vehicle was keyed on Baker Avenue.
4:23 p.m. Report of two men fighting at a restaurant on Baker Avenue.
Saturday, June 18
12:58 a.m. A woman was found passed out on the ground downtown. A bar bouncer tried to help her but she became combative. She was later taken to the hospital.
3:38 a.m. A man was found passed out in a yard on Pine Avenue. He was missing one shoe.
4:09 a.m. An intoxicated person was being belligerent at the rail yard.
1:35 p.m. Report of a suspicious man at a downtown bank making comments about robbing all the banks and shooting all the politicians who made him broke.
5:07 p.m. A driver reported a spike in his tire after police used a spike strip on Highway 93 South to apprehend a car chase suspect.
6:59 p.m. Report of suspected drug use at an RV park on Highway 93 South. Police found what appeared to be a heroin kit. No drugs were found, but police seized the case for destruction.
Sunday, June 19
12:31 a.m. Report of kids attempting to break into a vehicle on Cedar Street.
3:17 a.m. Report of a fallen tree blocking Somers Avenue.
7:53 a.m. Someone broke into a new hotel being built downtown.
8:20 a.m. A store window was broken out downtown.
8:37 p.m. Report of loud yelling at a home on Columbia Avenue. The men were hollering about the basketball game.
