Edward Sundberg

| June 22, 2016 6:07 AM

Edward Sundberg passed from natural causes and is taking his longest ride. He left on June 4, 2016.

Edward was born in Whitefish on Feb. 18, 1957. He lived in Havre until he graduated high school. He moved back to Whitefish for the love of the mountains and started his life-long career working on the railroad, just like his father and grandfather.

He loved his Harley, fishing, and dogs. He will be missed by his family at the Palace Bar in Whitefish. They will all miss his storytelling, and being kind and giving. He always had a helping hand for those in need. He never complained, was a quiet gentleman who also was a hard worker. Ed would never give up his secret spot for huckleberries.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Florence Sundberg. He is survived by his sisters, Terri (Russ) Earl of Havre, Karen (Wally) Bell of Great Falls, Bobbi (Mark) Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas, Nancy (James) DuPree of Winslow, Ariz., and a special friend Brenda Butler.
