Marcia Ellen Petersen of Bowling Green, K.Y., previously from Whitefish, died Sunday July 17, 2016 at age 91.

The military wife is proceeded in death by her husband, Col. Wayne Stan Petersen, of 57 years. Survivors include sons, Larry and wife Pat of Billings, Ron and wife Stephanie of Shelbyville, K.Y.; daughter, Lynn Reker and husband Richard of Bowling Green; along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends in Bowling Green and Whitefish at a later date.
