Delbert Roy Storkson

Delbert Roy Storkson was born in Whitefish Aug. 23, 1950. He died in his Hot Springs home on the morning of Jan. 4, 2016.  

Delbert was preceded to death by his father, George; his mother, Margret; his brothers, William and Marvin “Mike,” and his sisters, Vivian and Joyce. He is survived by his brothers, Richard and Carl; and his sisters, Eloise, Shirly, and Betty.  

Delbert grew up in Whitefish where in his teenage years he was a service station attendant. He was later drafted into the Army and he spent two years in Vietnam. Upon his return to the States he traveled to Alaska where he worked at Dutch Harbor. When he returned to Montana he and his three brothers Carl, Mike and Richard, spent many years logging, and working in sawmills. Delbert was well known for being a gentle soul. He will be missed.

To celebrate Delbert’s life services will be held Jan. 8 at noon at the Whitefish VFW.
