Glacier Glide Nordic races Jan. 10

The Glacier Nordic Club will host its annual Glacier Glide race on Sunday, Jan. 10 at the Nordic Center at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course.

New this year the race will have a pursuit format which includes both classic and freestyle races for a combined time. The short pursuit will be a 3k classic and 3k freestyle race and the longer race will include a 10k classic and a 15k freestyle race. There will also be a 1k and cookie race for kids.

Races start at 9:30 a.m. with day of registration at the Whitefish Lake Restaurant beginning at 8:30 a.m. Races are $20 for adults and $10 for youth. The 1k and cookie race are free. The entry fee includes a post-race chili lunch and awards ceremony at the Whitefish Lake Restaurant.
