Council looks at housing proposal; building sale

Whitefish City Council meets Jan. 3 at 7:10 p.m. at the interim City Hall at 1005 Baker Ave. The following agenda items will be discussed, subject to change:

• Consideration of an application by the Reisch Family Partnership for a conditional use permit for an eight-room boarding house plus manager’s unit on Park Avenue.

• Consideration of a resolution intent to adopt the Connect Whitefish bicycle and pedestrian master plan as an amendment to the 2007 Whitefish city-county master plan.

• Consideration of approving a minor preliminary plat at 835 W. 7th Street.

• Consideration of approving contracts for engineering design and construction management for several public works projects for 2017.

• Consideration of a resolution establishing a handicapped parking zone along a portion of O’Brien Avenue.

• Consideration of awarding a contract for the sale and moving of the Depot Park office building to North Valley Music School.

• Ratification of an employment agreement with Adam Hammatt to be the next City Manager.
