Swimmers take top 5 in Missoula

Top five finishes for the boys and girls swim teams capped off a solid weekend for Whitefish in Missoula Saturday.

The girls team took fourth place behind Hellgate, Sentinel and Big-Sky Loyola. Caroline Dye finished second in the 500 freestyle and third in the 200 individual medley, and Annie Sullivan finished fifth in the 200 freestyle.

The boys took second place behind Hellgate. Sentinel, Big Sky-Loyola and Columbia Falls rounded out the top five.

Denver Dicks finished fourth in the 500 freestyle and Alex Stein took fourth in the 200 freestyle. Whitefish took third in the boys 200 freestyle relay.

Whitefish returns to competition on Jan. 7 in Kalispell.
