Mark Mance wins Mid-Am Championship

| August 29, 2016 8:13 PM

Mark Mance became the first male Montana State Amateur Champion from Whitefish when he won the 2016 State Am Tournament in Polson a couple of weeks ago. Mark was really impressive, having finished the last 40 holes of the three-day event without a bogey.

Finishing right behind Mark Mance in second place was Whitefish golfer Shawn Tucker, only a few shots out of the lead. Brad Grattan wrapped up a strong showing by the Whitefish Lake Golf Club members by finishing in sixth place for tournament.

These groups of players represented Whitefish well and are all consistently great players. Mark Mance is also the 2016 mens club champion at Whitefish Lake Golf Club.
