Council considers FY17 budget

Whitefish City Council meets Aug. 15 at 7:10 p.m. at the interim City Hall at 1005 Baker Ave. The following agenda items will be discussed, subject to change:

• During a work session at 5:45 p.m., council will discuss updates on the wastewater nutrient trading plan and the wastewater treatment plant upgrade design.

• Consideration of a resolution amending the fiscal year 2016 budget to increase appropriations in four funds in the city.

• Consideration of a resolution approving the fiscal year 2017 budget.

• Consideration of an ordinance amending zoning regulations to add recreational guides and outfitters to the list of conditional uses in secondary business district.

• Consideration of an ordinance extending the interim ordinance imposing a moratorium on allowing the averaging of residential density across the underlying zoning districts when a planned unit development overlays more than one zoning district.
