Don't second guess school staff changes

| April 26, 2016 12:29 PM

It’s amazing how the public allows itself to second guess school administrations without access to all the information. To do the same to a successful sports coach would be considered ill informed.

This is happening at present in Whitefish. I have no doubt there are strong reasons for the proposed staff changes, simply because, no administrator would start down such a path without good reason. The public should step back, allow the school board we’ve elected, and administrators, hired by that board, to administrate (coach) the operations of the schools. We allow the coaches to administer the positions and players on their teams. Schools are teams. Not all people fit a position — just as not all kids meet the coach’s expectations for a team position.

I, also, want urge everyone to support the bond requests. Whitefish Schools do very good things with reasonable dollars. Tax support of the schools should be a given. Those students will take care of you in the future. Support the funding needs today. It’s a valuable investment.
