The Whitefish girls soccer team continued its tear through the competition, picking up a pair of blowout wins last week at home.

The scoring came early and often for Lady Dogs on Friday as they romped past Livingston to an easy 9-1 victory.

Haley Nicholson had four goals in the match to lead the team. Julia Houston finished with a pair of scores and an assist.

Whitefish launched 34 shots on goal compared to just 10 for Livingston.

The Dogs kept rolling on Saturday, taking down Belgrade 4-1.

Whitefish scored all their goals in the first 12 minutes of the game.

Nicholson hit the net in the first minute of play off an assist from Anna Peterson. Nicholson scored again five minutes later.

Houston tacked on the final two scores in a four-minute window. Her first goal came off an assist from Nicholson in the eighth minute. She converted again on a solo opportunity in the 12th minute.

Nicholson now has 12 goals on the season to lead the state in scoring.

Whitefish hosts Polson on Saturday at 7 p.m. for the Homecoming game at Memorial Field.
