Ski resort brings season pass sales to town
Only a few weeks remain to purchase a winter pass to Whitefish Mountain Resort at the early-season rates.
Passes will be available at the lowest prices of the year through Sept. 30. The ski area is scheduled to open Dec. 5 and close April 10, 2016.
An adult pass is priced at $620, which is a $10 increase over the 2014-15 rate.
Senior and college student passes are priced at $520. Teen passes are $340 and junior passes are $175. Children 6 & under and super seniors 70 and over ski free.
Extra perks of a season pass include four lift tickets at $47 for friends and family, five days free at Red Lodge Mountain Resort and Homewood Mountain Resort in California, four days free at Diamond Peak Ski Resort in California, 10 percent off dining, clothing, equipment repairs, 20 percent off lessons, 20 percent off lodging for friends and family, four reduced price lift tickets, and unlimited scenic lift rides in summer 2016.
The resort will hold pass sales at a few locations in the valley this month. Passes also can by purchased online or at the Base Lodge.
