Ronfeldts celebrate 50th anniversary

Suzy (Muldown) and Steve Ronfeldt are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year. On Aug. 7, 1965, they were married at the First Methodist Church in Whitefish. The two met while students at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash. They have raised three children and now have six grandchildren. Suzy is a retired elementary school teacher, and Steve is a semi-retired public interest attorney for low income clients. They ski on Big Mountain each winter following in Mully and Betty (Jennings) Muldown’s ski tracks. In the summer, the Ronfeldts and their extended family represent the fifth generation of the family enjoying Whitefish Lake thanks to Mayme (Houston) and Charles Jennings. While hiking in the Canadian Rockies, Steve and Suzy plan to stay at Prince of Wales Hotel where they honeymooned 50 years ago.
