7:16 a.m. The front door was smashed at a business on Baker Avenue.
8:29 a.m. Report of a firearm and checkbook stolen from a vehicle on Woodland Place.
11:30 a.m. Fly fishing tackle boxes were stolen from a vehicle on Waverly Place.
10 p.m. Report of a verbal disturbance on Waverly Place.
Tuesday, Oct. 20
12:45 a.m. Report of two homeless men urinating along Baker Avenue. One had a very long goatee.
1:31 p.m. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle on Spokane Avenue.
Wednesday, Oct. 21
1:10 a.m. Report of a woman in a black trench coat with black lipstick and black hair yelling and screaming at people downtown. Later that morning the same woman was seen carrying a 2x4 along Highway 40. She was given a ride back to Columbia Falls.
11:42 p.m. A suspicious man in dreadlocks and another man with a beard were seen looking into vehicles at a gas station on Highway 93.
2:59 p.m. Report of theft from a downtown jewelry store.
3:38 p.m. The driver of a gold Taurus was suspected on road rage on Wisconsin Avenue.
7:49 p.m. Report of a couple involved in a dispute at an apartment on Wisconsin Avenue. On man was trying to kick in a door.
Thursday, Oct. 22
9:03 a.m. Report of a vehicle break-in on Woodside Lane.
11:06 a.m. A dog was chasing a cat on Dakota Avenue.
11:40 a.m. Report of two men fighting on Wisconsin Avenue. It was an ongoing feud between neighbors.
Friday, Oct. 23
1:53 a.m. A man told police he was thrown from a moving vehicle on Whitefish Stage Road and that he was injured. When police arrived he confessed that he made the whole story up.
12:25 p.m. A bicyclist told police that a tan colored SUV crossed two lanes of traffic and tried to run him over on East Lakeshore Drive. He said a clerk at a bicycle shop in town said the same thing happened to him yesterday.
12:37 p.m. A caller reported a driver in a SUV going 3 mph along East 2nd Street. The driver kept laughing and stopping in the middle of the road. The caller suspected the driver might be high on something.
8:49 p.m. Report of an intoxicated driver at a drive-through on Highway 93. The passenger was completely passed out.
Saturday, Oct. 24
2:40 p.m. Report of a deer tangled up in a fence on Dakota Avenue. It was later freed.
Sunday, Oct. 25
5:28 p.m. Report of a man moaning, screaming, crying and shaking in a vehicle on East 4th Street. He was having an diabetic issue.
10:55 p.m. A rock was thrown through a vehicle parked at a lodge on Wisconsin Avenue.
