Police calls: Pancake tailgaters seem sketchy

Monday, Sept. 28

12:07 p.m. Report of a stolen pistol on Jennings Avenue.

Tuesday, Sept. 29

1:18 a.m. Report of people making pancakes in the back of a white van in a parking lot on Spokane Avenue.

7:27 a.m. Employees were nervous about a suspicious white van in a parking lot on Spokane Avenue. The people in the van were just resting.

6:24 p.m. A bike was stolen from a laundromat on Highway 93 South.

Wednesday, Sept. 30

5:03 a.m. A tall woman in sweatpants was beating on a door at an apartment on Colorado Avenue. It seemed strange.

Thursday, Oct. 1

9:54 p.m. Report of a suspicious gold Jeep parked on Spokane Avenue. It may have been stolen.

11:37 p.m. A caller said she was being threatened by a woman who wrote a bad check. The woman told the caller that she would send the Hell Angels to hurt her.

Friday, Oct. 2

12:42 p.m. Report of an intoxicated man in a straw hat stumbling down an alley with his luggage.

1:27 p.m. Windows were smashed in a vehicle parked at the train depot.

2:25 p.m. Report of a small bear near Creekwood Drive.

4:52 p.m. Report of three kids using drugs in an alley off Edgewood Place.

7:53 p.m. A driver hit a bear on Creekwood Drive.

Saturday, Oct. 3

12:27 a.m. Report of a physical disturbance on Wisconsin Avenue. A woman was seen bleeding from her mouth with a black eye. She had a bat in her hand.

5:31 a.m. A woman said she woke up on her front porch with no phone, no wallet and no car. She said she went out to a bar downtown the previous night for a drink, but doesn’t remember what happened after that.

2:24 p.m. Report of a bicycle stolen on Wisconsin Avenue.

9:42 p.m. A woman said she was choked and punched in the face twice while downtown.
