Proud to be a Whitefish Bulldog

Last Saturday, I drove home to Pittsburgh from Columbus, Ohio while my wife sat in the passenger seat and read off live tweets from the Whitefish Pilot about Whitefish's football game against Miles City. The last was the best: "Bulldog Nation, it's time to start planning a road trip to Dillon next weekend!"

I haven't lived in Whitefish since graduating high school in 2003. The city has changed a lot since I was there. But some things don't change. The city's support for its football team, the dedication of the players to their goals and to each other, and the tireless effort of the coaching staff are all the same, and are to be admired.

No matter what happens on Saturday in Dillon, I am proud to be a Whitefish alum, and I am proud of these athletes and their coaches.
