The Bulldogs top senior receiver Jack Streibich is headed to play Division III college football at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn.

Streibich’s size and athleticism — along with hard work in the classroom — drew the attention of Macalester head coach Tony Jennison.

“We believe he has the skills on the field and the leadership and work ethic off it to help keep our football program at a championship level,” Jennison told the Pilot. “We are ecstatic that Jack is joining our football program.”

Streibich racked up 48 catches for 869 total yards, including 13 touchdowns, last season for the Bulldogs. He was named first team All-State as wide receiver and first team All-Conference.

Off the field, he hits the books hard, earning All-State academic honors three times.

“Jack stood out to us in the recruiting process because he is an exceptional person, who is serious about challenging himself academically but also passionate about football,” Jennison added.

The Macalester Scots play in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Macalester finish the 2014 season with a 9-2 record, a school-best for wins, and earned their first outright conference title since 1925.
