Support for Haskill easement essential

Imagine Whitefish without the improvements of our infrastructure as a result of the resort tax. Now imagine 3,024 acres of land within Haskill Basin off limits to public access and affordable drinking water for the city of Whitefish.

It’s essential you show your support for this important issue by voting yes to increase the resort tax to 3 percent and allow for the purchase of conservation easement from Stoltze Lumber.

I whole heartily support those merchants impacted by the resort tax and implore you to do the same and pay your fair share.

I have spent many pleasurable hours in Haskill Basin. It is truly a remarkable area and will continue to provide future generations with jobs, water and recreational opportunities, only if the conservation easement is purchased.
