The Glacier Outlaws Professional Baseball Team is looking for host families for its debut season.

This team is part of the newly formed Mount Rainier Professional Baseball League and will be playing 40 home games at Memorial Field in Whitefish.

Players are expected to arrive May 13-15 with the season ending in the first part of August.

Outlaw players have been recruited from across the U.S. and Canada, Japan, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela. The player’s ages range from 21-26 and many have just finished their college baseball careers and are entering professional baseball for first time.

The season schedule includes three away trips, with the longest being a two-week stretch starting on June 22 and returning on July 10.

A player must be provided a bedroom of their own and access to a bathroom nearby. The players are responsible for all of their food, toiletries and other household accommodations.

Host families receive free season tickets and other perks.
