PTA Reflections winners announced

The Whitefish Parent Teachers Association has named this year’s first place winners of the Reflections program. Reflections is a national art competition for student artists in kindergarten through grade 12.

Each year Whitefish students are invited to reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the disciplines of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.

The 2014-2015 Reflections theme is “The World Would Be A Better Place If…”  All first and second place winning artwork entries are forwarded to the Montana State PTA Reflections competition.

Dance Choreography: Grades 6-8, Danika Tintzman.

Film Production: Grades 6-8, Regan Tintzman. Grades 9-12, Jeff Hyer.

Literature: Grades K-2, Lauren Rossi, Grades 3-5, Katherine Benkelman, Grades 6-8, Danika Tintzman, Grades 9-12, Greta Roberts.

Music Composition:  Grades 3-5, Azlyn Caldwell, Grades 6-8, Bethany Barnes, Grades 9-12, Sam Benkelman.
