Chamber seeks nominees for service awards

The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its annual Community Service Awards which will be presented at their annual banquet April 2.

Nominations will be accepted through March 13. More information and nomination forms can be found online at www.whitefishchamber.org or by calling 862-3501.

The Chamber is seeking nominations in four different categories:

•  The Great Whitefish Award

This award recognizes and honors one person's lifetime contributions to our community.

• Citizen of the Year Award

This award is given annually to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the betterment of Whitefish, with no expectation of personal  financial gain.

• Business of the Year Award

This award is given annually to a business that leads by example, contributing to the well-being of the community through job creation, public service, philanthropy and/or volunteerism.

• Tourism Business of the Year Award

This award is given to a business that contributes to the continued development of the town’s tourism industry, while also exhibiting the characteristics described for “Business of the Year” above.
