Monday, June 15
7:07 p.m. A transient with a dog on Spokane Avenue was told to move along.
Tuesday, June 16
1:14 a.m. Report of three suspicious teens in an alley on Columbia Avenue.
7:34 a.m. An unlocked vehicle was broken into on Minnesota Avenue.
8:03 a.m. Two trucks and a Subaru were broken into on Minnesota Avenue.
10:44 a.m. Report of a vehicle break-in on Colorado Avenue.
12:09 p.m. A Wisconsin Avenue business owner reported broken bottles and a table flipped over.
3:08 p.m. A Wisconsin Avenue resident found a wallet and purse tossed into her yard.
Wednesday, June 17
3:39 a.m. A woman yelled at three kids with flashlights going through a vehicle on West Sixth Street.
1:23 p.m. Items were stolen from a vehicle on West Seventh Street.
2:30 p.m. A checkbook was stolen from a vehicle on Spokane Avenue.
2:32 p.m. Report of a stolen bicycle on Lupfer Avenue.
4:13 p.m. Three unlocked vehicles were broken into on West Fourth Street.
6:07 p.m. Cash was stolen from a vehicle on East First Street.
6:47 p.m. A child’s bike was stolen on Mountain Park Drive.
8:11 p.m. Report of a garage band practicing on Wisconsin Avenue. One resident said the noise was rattling the house. Police advised that the noise ordinance doesn’t go into effect until 10 p.m. The resident called back to tell police she yelled at the band herself.
9:41 p.m. $150 cash was stolen from a pickup on Somers Avenue.
11:25 p.m. The smell of burning rubber was reported on Edgewood Place.
Thursday, June 18
7:20 a.m. Report of a suspicious man in a pickup waiting outside of a bank. He was just waiting to cash a check.
7:45 a.m. A teen reported an assault from the previous night on Blanchard Lake Road. He had minor cuts and a swollen face.
10:11 a.m. Cash was stolen from a vehicle on East First Street.
10:27 a.m. Evicted tenants of a Spokane Avenue apartment reportedly changed the locks. The landlord was attempting to drill the locks when he saw a woman peek from behind the curtains. He also smelled a strong odor of kerosene.
10:34 a.m. Vehicles were broken into at an apartment complex on Colorado Avenue. The manager said she caught the suspects on video.
9:31 p.m. A vehicle was rummaged through on Woodside Lane.
Friday, June 19
12:31 a.m. A man and his ex-girlfriend were arguing over a dog on Waverly Place.
7:23 a.m. Report of a stolen mountain bike on East First Street.
7:54 a.m. Customers at coffee shop on Wisconsin Avenue heard what sounded like gun shots. It was probably construction activity, police concluded.
8:01 a.m. A landlord reported one of his properties on Colorado Avenue was trashed during the last month. A neighbor saw someone crawl into a window.
10:54 a.m. Report of a vehicle break-in on State Park Road. Nothing was missing.
11:39 a.m. Report of two suspicious men in hiking clothing possibly casing a store downtown.
4:02 p.m. A yellow lab in a pickup bit a man walking by on Spokane Avenue.
10:30 p.m. A resident reported cigarette smoke coming into the window from a party down the street.
Saturday, June 20
2:43 a.m. Report of people partying on the lake.
9:13 a.m. Report of a scary homeless man with a big beard and dreadlocks sleeping in the tunnel of the toddler playground at the Kiddie Park.
9:38 p.m. Loud gothic music was reported on Lake Park Lane.
Sunday, June 21
7:22 a.m. Someone stole a bike from Pine Avenue and left a girls bike in its place.
