Monday, June 8

9:41 a.m. Report of a transient sleeping on Central Avenue.

11:41 a.m. Report of an attempted burglary on Central Avenue.

12:49 p.m. Report of a vicious dog at a playground on East Second Street.

5:30 p.m. A caller told police someone stole her longboard while she was jumping into the river off the footbridge. Her friend rolled up on the board as she was making the theft report.

11:23 p.m. A group of transients with a dog were setting up camp in a downtown alley.

Tuesday, June 9

7:26 a.m. A woman dumped six bags of garbage into a Park Avenue resident’s trash bin.

9 p.m. Six people were stranded on a boat with a dead battery on Whitefish Lake.

Wednesday, June 10

7:54 a.m. A large-nosed man reportedly jumped onto a passenger train in Spokane without a ticket, then got off in Whitefish. Passengers said they caught the man digging through their bags.

Thursday, June 11

3:53 p.m. An East Lakeshore resident reported a repo man that came to take a vehicle he didn’t own. The resident thought it was suspicious how much personal information the repo man had.

7:20 p.m. A business owner said a bunch of people were hanging around the parking lot and plugged something into the building to play music.

9:01 p.m. A fight was brewing on the footbridge at Riverside Park.

Friday, June 12

2:59 a.m. Report of alarms going off on Somers Avenue.

9:41 a.m. A caller wanted to tell police about someone on house arrest that was doing meth.

4:34 p.m. A driver on Karrow Avenue believed he was being chased by someone with a gun in a black Audi. He thought he heard a gun cock, but never saw a gun.

Saturday, June 13

3:21 p.m. An intoxicated man was seen looking into vehicles parked at the mall.

9:20 p.m. A fawn was found standing next to its dead mother. A resident picked up the fawn and took it home, but wasn’t sure what to do with it.

Sunday, June 14

1:25 a.m. An intoxicated woman downtown was arguing with a man who refused to give her the keys to her car. She got a ride home from a family member.

7:25 a.m. Someone moved traffic cones in the construction zone on Highway 93 West.

7:30 p.m. Report of a woman with three large rottweilers off leash on Riverside Avenue. A man with the woman kicked one of the dogs.
