Martinson and Lester engaged

Marissa Lester and Matt Martinson, together with their parents Tom and MaryAnn Lester, of Rockford, Ill, and Heidi Lester of Mount Morris, Ill., and Jim and Jayne Martinson, of Whitefish, are happy to announce their engagement.

Marissa is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and is employed as a customer service manager for Hillshire Brands.

Matt is a 2007 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and a 2010 graduate of Des Moines University. He is a physician assistant with Rockford Orthopedics.

The wedding is planned for Nov. 21, 2015 in Beloit, Wisc.
