Whitefish was represented by a strong contingent of runners at Sunday’s Missoula Marathon, one of the largest races in the state.

Jessica Peltier, 30, finished the full marathon with an impressive 4:02:04 to finish in 112th place out of a field of more than 500 women.

Whitefish runner Victoria Forristal was in the same pack and crossed the finish line in 4:04:01.

The 26.2-mile race course started in Frenchtown and finished in downtown Missoula.

In the half-marathon, 18-year-old Connor Wilson blazed the course to place 33rd among men with a 1:22:05. That’s a 6:16 per mile pace.
