Monday, Jan. 19

1:25 p.m. Report of a man trespassing on Portage Way.

6:57 p.m. Report of young children riding in a vehicle without car seats.

7:32 p.m. A driver slowed down to let a rafter of turkeys cross Big Mountain Road, but was passed by another vehicle that ran over the birds. Young men in the passing vehicle also made gestures to the driver.

Tuesday, Jan. 20

3:39 p.m. A dog with a bloody paw and a limp was seen wandering around near Wisconsin Avenue.

Wednesday, Jan. 21

4:22 p.m. A resident wanted to speak with an officer about drug trafficking.

5:21 p.m. A teenager called her parents after she got stuck inside a car wash on Riverside Avenue.

Thursday, Jan. 22

12:36 a.m. Report of an intoxicated man lying on a snowbank along Waverly Place.

3:08 p.m. Report of kids fighting at a park on East 4th Street. One kid was reportedly much bigger than the other.

10:32 a.m. A jealous woman allegedly broke down a door on Kalispell Avenue.

Friday, Jan. 23

12:10 a.m. A snowplow driver on Spokane Avenue said someone stole his belongings from his loader.

12:40 a.m. Report of a mother and son arguing on Central Avenue.

12:59 p.m. Six snowboarders were near a wall at City Beach. There was nothing criminal going on.

4:27 p.m. A trail of blood led to a small deer injured on Wisconsin Avenue. The deer was able to get up and move along.

11:11 p.m. Report of teenagers harassing deer on Columbia Avenue. They got our of a vehicle and chased a buck.

11:27 p.m. Report of an attack on Somers Avenue. The suspect was lying in the middle of the street as another man with a stick stood over him.

Saturday, Jan. 24

12:46 a.m. Police investigated a possible juvenile party on East Lakeshore Drive.

1:13 a.m. Report of an assault on Railway Street. A taxi driver said he was attacked in an alley. He said he used pepper spray on the suspect.

4:58 p.m. The Find My iPhone app showed a stolen phone in Kalispell.

5:16 p.m. Dogs were chasing deer on Baker Avenue. One deer was hit by a car.

9:25 p.m. A wet dog in the back of a pickup on Spokane Avenue appeared to have been sprayed with something purple. The owner was counseled and put the dog inside.

Sunday, Jan. 25

7:11 a.m. Report of stolen and damaged items at a store on Central Avenue. The incident wasn’t a burglary, just two people breaking up.

12:45 p.m. Report of cars illegally parked all along Birch Drive.

2:27 p.m. Illegally parked cars were being towed from East Second Street.

2:38 p.m. Report of an iPad stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Baker Avenue.

3:27 p.m. A caller was upset about vehicles being towed on East Second Street. He said event organizers promised vehicles wouldn’t be towed, but police said the event didn’t have the authority to make such a promise.

3:38 p.m. A caller on East Second Street was upset about being charged by a towing company, even though he wasn’t towed.

Monday, Jan. 26

1:42 a.m. Report of a snowmobiler on Lupfer Avenue who hit and killed a deer. Police counseled two men on operating snowmobiles in the city.
