Police calls: Intoxicated man finds his car

Monday, Feb. 16

10:14 a.m. Report of theft on Birch Hill Drive.

Tuesday, Feb. 17

10:20 a.m. An employee at a Railway Street business reported a stolen computer and camera.

Wednesday, Feb. 18

6:06 p.m. An old dog with immobile back legs was found under the Columbia Avenue bridge. Police took it to Flathead Pet Emergency.

7:10 p.m. A man on Lupfer Avenue said a woman was attempting to rile up his neighbors against him.

Thursday, Feb. 19

10:40 a.m. A woman left without paying for her hotel room at a lodge on U.S. 93 West.

11:48 a.m. A caller wanted to know if it was legal to drive a golf cart in town.

11:53 p.m. Report of two short men with beards starting fights downtown. One man was wearing a beanie.

Friday, Feb. 20

1:09 a.m. Report of a fight on Central Avenue. One man hit his head on the pavement. Neither side wanted to press charges.

Saturday, Feb. 21

2:19 a.m. An intoxicated man lost his car downtown. The car was located across the street. He took a taxi home.

8:17 a.m. A Kalispell Avenue resident reported a dog that kept pooping on his lawn and that a neighbor is allowing it to happen. The man reportedly threatened to get a gun and shoot both the neighbor and the dog. He clarified it would be a BB gun.

8:24 p.m. A loud crash was reported on Columbia Avenue. It was possibly a train.

11:35 p.m. Report of a man and woman fighting on East 8th Street. Both were arrested.

Sunday, Feb. 22

2:02 p.m. A West 2nd Street resident reported a stolen Subaru Outback. The car was unlocked and the keys were left inside.
