Lady Dogs still looking for first league win
The Whitefish girls basketball team is still looking for its first conference win after a tough 78-22 loss to Columbia Falls on Saturday.
The Lady Bulldogs fell behind 25-4 in the first quarter and couldn’t catch up in the Northwest A game.
The top-ranked Wildkats (16-1, 7-0) led 52-13 at halftime.
Whitefish (2-15, 0-7) was carried by six points from Haley Nicholson.
On Thursday, Whitefish dropped a non-conference contest at Plains 56-29.
Katie Fyall put in seven points to lead Whitefish.
The girls are back in action on Saturday at Polson.
