Monday, Dec. 21
12:37 p.m. Report of illegally parked vehicles at the sledding hill off Ramsey Avenue.
4:06 p.m. A woman reported threatening texts from a former co-worker.
6:49 p.m. Report of a missing trombone. It may have been left in a parking lot near downtown.
9:07 p.m. A driver picked up a woman walking alone along the highway. She seemed to be in distress.
Tuesday, Dec. 22
2:19 a.m. Report of a woman passed out in her vehicle parked downtown. Her husband was called to take her home.
12:54 p.m. A luggage box fell off the top of a vehicle on O’Brien Avenue.
2:29 p.m. Report of a vehicle high-centered in snow on Birch Point Drive.
3:02 p.m. A single ski boot was found on Depot Street.
5:38 p.m. A child was accidentally locked inside a running vehicle. A locksmith was called.
7:32 An East 3rd Street resident was concerned about a pile of snow plowed into the middle of the street.
Wednesday, Dec. 23
1:09 a.m. Report of a vehicle in the ditch on East 2nd Street.
2:38 p.m. Report of a suspicious Forest Service green truck taking photos of home sites on Haugen Heights. A caller suspected they were planning to steal items. The men were located and told police they were just taking photos of the train.
2:56 p.m. A vehicle was parked in the middle of the road at the sled hill on Birch Point Drive.
5:46 p.m. Report of a vehicle on East 3rd Street left running with a baby inside. The caller said the pickup had been running since noon.
Thursday, Dec. 24
2:04 a.m. A man was passed out inside a running pickup at a parking lot near Highway 93 South.
5:32 p.m. Four teens were standing around a vehicle stuck in the ditch on Park Avenue.
7:35 p.m. Two vicious pit bulls were running loose on Wisconsin Avenue. The dog owners were cited.
9:27 p.m. A man stopped to assist two men with car troubles on East 2nd Street. He later told police the men were acting funny and didn’t believe they actually had car trouble.
Friday, Dec. 25
3:09 p.m. Police found an abandoned 1992 Isuzu Trooper stuck on a snow berm on Lupfer Avenue. Outside of the vehicle were a flask, a six pack of Smirnoff Ice, and a hard cider can. The vehicle was towed and the owner of the vehicle was cited.
Saturday, Dec. 26
3:21 p.m. Parents were searching for five children who were last seen playing in the snow near Mountainside Drive. Their tracks led up a hill and down to the lake. All of the children were later found OK.
10:07 p.m. A caller reported a disorderly man downtown who knocked food out of his hands.
10:57 p.m. Report of a huge fight inside a downtown bar. Police responded and no one wanted to press charges.
11:09 p.m. A house was egged on Great Northern Drive.
Sunday, Dec. 27
10:25 a.m. A man became emotional and smashed a vehicle window after his girlfriend broke up with him. He paid the vehicle owner for the damages.
