Huckleberry Days festival this weekend
The 26th annual Huckleberry Days Arts Festival will take place Aug. 7-9 at Depot Park in Whitefish.
With more than 100 vendors of fine arts and great food, the festival includes a huckleberry dessert bake-off contest, live entertainment and a mobile climbing wall for kids and adults. The Huckleberry Stage, sponsored by Celebrate Party Rentals, will have variety of groups playing reggae, coffee house, and ukulele music and a dance performance by the Academy of the Performing Arts and the Halau Ka Waikahe Lani Malie Hula School.

Glacier Bank Whitefish will be giving away Sweet Peaks Huckleberry Ice Cream 10 a.m. until it’s gone! –Downtown location.
Saturday, Aug. 8
Arts Festival – Depot Park: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Huckleberry Pancake and Sausage Feed – Mountain Mall Parking Lot (look for the white tent): 7 – 11 a.m. ($5 per person, service provided by the Whitefish Wrestling Club)
Huckleberry Bake-Off Entry Registration – Depot Park: 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. (for entry forms and rules go to: www.whitefishchamber.org and click on the Huckleberry Days icon on the home page.)
Huckleberry Bake-Off Judging Begins – Depot Park: 10:45 am
Music by Michelle Lynn – Huckleberry Stage, Depot Park: 12:30 p.m.
Hidden Huckleberry Contest for kids – City Beach: 1 p.m. (Gazebo #1) All participants receive a free ice cream cone. Put on by Whitefish Parks and Rec Dept. 863-2475
