Eric Scott Gustafson

Eric Scott Gustafson was born Dec. 22, 1965 in Whitefish to Don and Zoe Gustafson. He passed away July 28, 2015 at Health Center NorthWest from Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 49.

Eric attended 12 years of school in Whitefish graduating from Whitefish High School in 1984. He then attended Montana State University.

Over his lifetime he worked in Arizona, Hawaii and managed a motel in Chester for many years. He enjoyed many hobbies including skiing on Big Mountain, hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He always had a smile on his face and a warm heart that everyone enjoyed being around. His sense of humor was the light that led us through many tough times.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, Don Gustafson; and brother, Gary Gustafson.

He is survived by his mother, Zoe, of Kalispell; his eldest daughter, Harlie Gustafson, of Kalispell whom he adopted at the age of 1; and his youngest daughter, Sadee Gustafson, of Kalispell. He is also survived by sister, Lori Gustafson, of Sacramento; and brother, Tim Gustafson, of Reno, Nev.; and many nieces and nephews.
