Howard "Howie" Paul Johnson
Howard "Howie" Paul Johnson, beloved father, husband, brother, son, uncle, and friend, dies April 14, 2015.
He was born May 29,1950 to Marvin and Toni Johnson as a middle child of five children. Howie was the youngest boy had an amazing relationship with his sibilings. He loved them so much and held them so close.
Howie excelled in art and won state competitions for his beautiful paintings.
During high school he met and later married the love of his life, Juile Johnson, in June of 1968. Together they loved and raised four beautiful children.
Howie had a passion for working with injection molding and that passion ultimately led to him starting his own business in Whitefish. He was known for many of his inventions. He had a way of looking at things differently and finding new ways to help people.
Howie was all about helping people. A beautiful soul and heart. He could light up a room with his smile and always had that twinkle in his eye. He could bring a smile to anyone’s face and was always laughing.
His greatest attribute was his love for family, friends, and life. His relentless giving of himself in all aspects of life was more than generous. He touched many lives in his short time on this earth. His very soul was so filled with love that it finally could not be contained anymore and he was returned home.
He was welcomed home by his mother, Toni Johnson; his father, Marvin Johnson; his sister, Angie Carlson; brother-in-law, Chuck Strand; and daughter-in-law, Krystle Gilchrist; along with many more friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Rae Johnson of Montana; his four children, Lori Johnson (Darryl Hawkins) of Wisconsin, Jennifer Johnson (Shawn Potter) of South Dakota, James Johnson of Montana, and Julie Marie Johnson of South Dakota. His brother, Marvin (John) Johnson (Joanne Johnson); sister, Becky Martell (Keith Martell); Heidi Stroebel (Arnie Stroebel); godmother, Barb Madsen; and sister-in-law Jeani Gabor (Jerry Gabor), all of Wisconsin. Eleven grandchildren, 10 great-grand children, as well as many neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
One final note, my husband was the most unforgettable person I have ever met. His love, kindness, self sacrifice, and generosity was above all others. I was truly blesses to have met and married Howie. He was the love of my life. His beautiful life was all short but he lived life like life should be lived.
Until we meet again, all my love.
