Lady Dogs fade against Broncs
The Lady Bulldog volleyball team is still looking for its first conference win after a tough loss at home Thursday to Frenchtown.
Whitefish was impressive in winning the first set 15-25. Using the home crowd, the Dogs took control early and kept the lead with nice hustle plays.
The Broncs regained their edge in a close second set before crusing to wins in the final two frames.
Myndi Holbrook led the Dogs with 17 kills. Kate Doorn and Allie Schulz each tallied a stuff block.
Rachael Seymour picked up 13 of Whitefish’s 62 digs. Maura Kalbfleisch had three aces to lead the team.
Whitefish hosts Polson on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the homecoming match.
