4:55 p.m. A resident received a scam email purportedly from the IRS stating they need money or she will be arrested.
4:59 p.m. Report of a stolen iPad on East 2nd Street.
7:29 p.m. Report of a stolen garden hose and sprinkler on Columbia Avenue.
Wednesday, Sept. 3
6:19 a.m. Two people were sleeping on the sidewalk along U.S. 93 South.
11:03 a.m. Report of a stolen gun on U.S. 93 South.
2:39 p.m. Report of a stolen tablet computer on Baker Avenue.
4:35 p.m. A man at a downtown business was making people feel uncomfortable by ranting about religion. Officers removed the man and told him not to return.
Thursday, Sept. 4
2:04 a.m. A large bear was seen knocking over trash cans on Hazel Place.
8:04 a.m. Report of an assault at a motel on Spokane Avenue. A woman said she was shoved and punched in the head and back.
5:10 p.m. A bear was seen on Parkway Drive. It was headed toward the lake.
6:54 p.m. A resident asked if it was legal for a child to shoot a bow and arrow in the city.
8:56 p.m. Report of a disorderly man with a pencil mustache. He was asked to leave a downtown bar.
Friday, Sept. 5
7:25 p.m. A woman was arrested on West 2nd Street following a fender-bender.
Saturday, Sept. 6
12:40 a.m. A man downtown was cited for urinating in public. His car keys were taken.
10:51 p.m. Wedding guests were fighting at a lodge on Wisconsin Avenue.
11:55 p.m. Members of a large wedding party were trying to use fake ID’s downtown.
Sunday, Sept. 7
12:18 a.m. A man wearing sunglasses was reportedly hallucinating and vomiting in the Ride Guy vehicle. The man got out of the vehicle and was yelling at nothing. He then ran onto the highway.
2:05 a.m. Report of two men fighting in a parking lot off U.S. 93 South.
2:15 a.m. A man claimed that bouncers at a bar downtown threw him onto the pavement.
2:18 a.m. Report of an intoxicated man downtown yelling and being disorderly.
2:34 a.m. Report of a man riding a child’s bicycle.
10:49 a.m. Someone removed a spark plug from a motorcycle parked on Central Avenue.
11:47 a.m. Items were stolen from a Jeep without a top parked on East 3rd Street.
12:26 p.m. Report of a stolen cell phone downtown.
4:25 a.m. Report of a vehicle break-in on O’Brien Avenue. A CD player cord was cut and a golf player was left on a seat.
