The third panel of the Windows on Whitefish public art project was unveiled on Thursday during the Gallery Nights art walk. The mosaic panel depicts the autumn season.

Stumptown Art Studio launched the public art project in 2012. The first mosaic window depicting spring was unveiled in 2012, followed by the summer panel in 2013. More than 400 people have been involved in the art project.

The murals are on permanent display on the corner of 2nd Street and Central Avenue on the wall of the Latitude 48 restaurant building.

The art project was initially funded by a start-up grant from the Montana Arts Council and will continue to need support through donations from individuals, businesses and future grants.
