12:49 p.m. Report of a cell phone stolen from a locked car on Wisconsin Avenue.
4:13 p.m. Report of people vandalizing and drinking inside a vacant house on Columbia Avenue.
Tuesday, Aug. 26
12:08 a.m. Report of a man trying to steal bowling balls from a bowling alley on U.S. 93 South.
5:17 a.m. A caller wanted to let police know of a “magnificent” deer walking down Baker Avenue.
10:53 a.m. Report of a suspicious middle-aged man talking to himself and recording videos of employees at a business downtown.
4:07 p.m. Report of theft and stalking at a lodge on Wisconsin Avenue.

12:31 p.m. A Baker Avenue resident offered to walk a neighbor’s puppy so it doesn’t bark. She said she can’t sleep with the puppy barking and wants the neighbor made aware of possible solutions.
4:06 p.m. A suspicious mumbling man twice showed up at a Park Avenue residence.
Friday, Aug. 29
1:47 a.m. Report of a woman who hit a man at a bar downtown.
4:29 a.m. Report of a burglary at a home on Swift Creek Lane. Car keys, a wallet, computer and briefcase were missing. A vehicle was rifled through as well.
4:53 a.m. Report of a vehicle break-in on River Haven Loop and Clearwater Drive.
11:10 a.m. A man found $120 cash on a sidewalk downtown. He turned it into police.
12:23 p.m. Report of a laptop and checkbook stolen on River Haven Loop.
2:52 p.m. A 4-year-old girl was found walking along Wisconsin Avenue alone. The mother had let her 10-year-old watch the girl, but she got sidetracked.
5:39 p.m. Someone landed a helicopter near Dakota Avenue. A resident complained about the noise.
6:54 p.m. Report of a physical disturbance between a man and woman on West 7th Street. One person was reportedly threatened with a shovel.
7:34 p.m. A suspicious person was seen looking into car windows and smoking used cigarette butts.
9:07 p.m. Report of a man urinating on an SUV downtown.

10:01 a.m. A tracking device located a stolen iPhone in a dumpster at a campground outside of town. A suspect was arrested.

7:39 p.m. A horse was loose on Karrow Avenue.
11:25 p.m. A woman told police her house on Baker Avenue would be the perfect place for a stakeout.
