Monday, Oct. 20

8:01 a.m. A group of mailboxes were run over on Wisconsin Avenue.

7:32 p.m. Teens were seen cutting up a deer that was hit by a pickup on Wisconsin Avenue.

Tuesday, Oct. 21

7:30 a.m. A concerned parent said a construction worker on East 4th Street needed to be checked for drugs and alcohol.

3:31 p.m. A dump truck hit a street light on Baker Avenue.

5:42 p.m. A bear with a limp was spotted near Glenwood Road. The bear appeared to have a bad paw.

6:12 p.m. Report of a stolen bike on Central Avenue.

7:18 p.m. Report of an intoxicated woman that slapped a man twice. The man told police he was just trying to get the woman home. The woman was advised to contact her probation officer.

Wednesday, Oct. 22

12:50 a.m. Two suspicious men put a gas can near a mailbox on O’Brien Avenue. When approached, they ran away.

9:11 a.m. A resident had questions about what time garbage cans can go out due to bear activity in town.

10:02 a.m. A beer truck ran into a building on East 2nd Street.

10:06 a.m. Someone stole $800 worth of tie-dye T-shirts from U.S. 93 South.

11:30 a.m. A man listed in a Crimestoppers ad was spotted at a drive-through on East 13th Street.

6:25 p.m. Report of young children on bikes playing on a dirt pile near the road construction on Highway 93 West.

11:11 p.m. An intoxicated man was knocking on the door of a home on Kalispell Avenue. The homeowner told police he was armed and an ex-law enforcement officer. When police arrived, the intoxicated man said he was looking for his hostel.

Thursday, Oct. 23

4:35 a.m. Report of an argument at an apartment on Colorado Avenue. It sounded like a woman was being attacked. An intoxicated man may have had a knife.

10:37 a.m. Report of a luggage cart at a U.S. 93 South hotel loaded with paint ball guns, several real guns and bullets, and something that looked like a bomb. Police investigated and found only paint ball related equipment. It was possibly for some sort of government training.

5:40 p.m. Report of a man with a dental emergency driving very slowly on U.S. 93 South. His dental office was closed.

Friday, Oct. 24

2:55 p.m. A black bear was spotted near Muldown Elementary.

5:04 p.m. A man was advised to not walk his dogs at the wildlife preserve off Texas Avenue.

Saturday, Oct. 25

1:57 a.m. Two men at a bar downtown were upset that their drinks weren’t poured right.

10:10 a.m. A hobbled bear was seen on Wisconsin Avenue.

1:02 p.m. A scroungy-looking man was arrested after he was seen urinating on a sidewalk near East 4th Street.

Sunday, Oct. 26

12:15 a.m. An intoxicated woman ripped a license plate off the front of a car on Central Avenue.

9:46 a.m. Report of a horse loose on East 2nd Street.

12:50 p.m. Report of a downhill bike stolen from Fox Farm Drive.

9:13 a.m. A woman refused to return a lost cat to its owner.
