No teams from the Northwest A cracked the top-5 of the latest Associated Press Class A football power poll.

Whitefish received 13 votes and Columbia Falls 7, but both teams fell outside the top tier.

Belgrade (8-1) remains ranked No. 1 with 88 points, followed closely by Butte Central (8-1) at No. 2 with 83 points.

Billings Central, Dillon and Miles City round out the top-5.

As conference champions, Whitefish has a bye in the first round of the playoffs that begin Saturday. The Dogs will host Nov. 8 either Miles City or Havre.

No. 2 seed Columbia Falls hosts Hamilton in the first round, and No. 3 seed Frenchtown travels to Dillon.
