2:31 p.m. Report of a man possibly smoking marijuana at an apartment on Lupfer Avenue.
9:41 p.m. A man from New Jersey wanted to let police know he is not a member of the Mafia.
11:15 p.m. A man threw his phone after stepping in dog poop on West 6th Street. The phone accidentally dialed 911.
Wednesday, Oct. 29
12:33 p.m. Report of a gentleman trying to steal a couple of sandwiches from a U.S. 93 store.
7:49 p.m. A day planner was found in the middle of U.S. 93 South.
Thursday, Oct. 30
1:25 a.m. An intoxicated and belligerent man allegedly pulled a buck knife on another man at a house of Lupfer Avenue. The man cut his hand when he grabbed the knife away. He thought he needed stitches. The intoxicated man was arrested.
5:43 p.m. A vicious dog attacked another dog on Wedgewood Lane.
7:42 p.m. A suspicious man wearing an old man mask was in the shadows of the Baker Avenue bridge. The man stepped out and said “Hi” to a passerby, then stepped back into the shadows.
Friday, Oct. 31
9:40 a.m. Report of two dogs stuck together by the collar on East 2nd Street. The dogs were bleeding from the mouth.
2:50 p.m. Kids vandalized fresh concrete on Geddes Avenue.
5:23 p.m. A child dressed as a cheetah was lost in a store on Central Avenue. She was later reunited with her parents.
6:10 p.m. Report of a man possibly high on meth that jumped from behind a stop sign and ran over his ex-girlfriend’s car.
8:02 p.m. A child dressed as a mummy was missing on Columbia Avenue. The child was later found safe.
8:51 p.m. Report of an intoxicated man that almost got hit by a car on Spokane Avenue.
9:42 p.m. An intoxicated woman was found passed out behind a bar downtown. She got a ride home.
9:43 p.m. An intoxicated and belligerent woman was swearing at the 911 dispatcher and making accusations about Whitefish police.
11:42 p.m. An intoxicated woman was upset that she wasn’t allowed at a bar downtown.
Saturday, Nov. 1
6:25 a.m. A Baker Avenue resident said her house was hit by paint balls.
12:09 a.m. Report of a snorting bear on the walking path near the Whitefish River. The reporting caller was concerned about a young woman also on the path. She was dressed in a velvet cape and carrying a staff.
12:39 p.m. Three dogs tied up downtown reportedly bit at a biker’s ankles.
3:25 p.m. A laptop and lab equipment was stolen from a business on Wisconsin Avenue.
10:01 p.m. A woman was heard screaming “Help me” at City Beach. The reporting caller said it sounded serious and scary. The beach was all quiet when police arrived.
10:47 p.m. A woman shattered a bathroom mirror at a bar downtown. She was bleeding and was later taken to the hospital.
Sunday, Nov. 2
6:47 p.m. An intoxicated man reported his vehicle stolen at a store downtown. The vehicle was found on the other side of the parking lot. He had forgotten where he parked it. Police secured the vehicle and the man was allowed to pick it up when he was sober.
9:29 p.m. Laser lights were being shined inside a Creek View Drive home.
Monday, Nov. 3
1:51 a.m. A man was arrested after he reportedly threatened a bouncer downtown. The man allegedly said he was going to hunt the bouncer down like an animal.
