Monday, April 28

3:30 p.m. A gold Rolex was reported missing on River Lakes Parkway.

4:04 p.m. A suspicious man with orange hair was seen carrying a computer and talking to himself on State Park Road.

Tuesday, April 29

12:15 p.m. A woman was seen driving on U.S. 93 South with an iPad and dayplanner in her hands.

12:54 p.m. Report of animal cruelty on Wisconsin Avenue.

5:12 p.m. A Kalispell Avenue resident reportedly screams profanities at neighbors and visitors frequently.

6:19 p.m. A woman attempted to steal alcohol from a store on U.S. 93 South. She removed the items from her purse before leaving the store.

6:27 p.m. Report of disorderly conduct on Kalispell Avenue.

7:10 p.m. A vicious animal on Columbia Avenue acted like it was going to charge a couple. The man had to back the dog down.

Wednesday, April 30

6:42 a.m. Tools were missing from a construction area on East 4th Street. Graffiti was found on the concrete in one area.

9:47 a.m. Report of a suspicious woman in a green truck on U.S. 93 South. She was seen walking around a parking lot all night.

1:09 p.m. Report of someone spinning broadies on U.S. 93 West.

3:32 p.m. A pickup was seen speeding down an alley at about 50 mph.

5:53 p.m. A vehicle was blocking traffic on East 2nd Street. The driver had sat through 10 green lights. It didn’t appear she had a medical issue.

6:11 p.m. A resident on Waverly Place found it suspicious she kept seeing the same man at multiple location across town. She took a photo of the man and his license plate and reported the issue to police. The man said he works door-to-door sales and it was a coincidence the woman kept seeing him.

8:38 p.m. The back window of a vehicle was smashed out on Minnesota Avenue.

Thursday, May 1

3:02 a.m. Report of multiple violations of the garbage can ordinance along Wisconsin and Dakota avenues.

9:04 a.m. A student was possibly under the influence while at school.

10 a.m. A West 7th Street resident had been receiving suspicious calls from an unknown man with an accent claiming she won a million dollars and a Mercedes Benz. When the resident declined the award, the caller said “That’s what you’re supposed to say b---.” The number traced back to another Whitefish residence. When police investigated it appeared the suspicious caller was somehow using a Whitefish phone number to run the phone scam.

1:46 p.m. Suspicious notes were posted on a billboard outside of a Central Avenue store. The small sheets of paper read “Communism for Our Future” and “Big Brother is Watching.”

2:45 p.m. A package and a prepaid coffee card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Mountain Park Drive.

3:48 p.m. A pickup lost its tire while driving on U.S. 93 South.

4:20 p.m. Report of boats going up and down the river and leaving big wakes. The caller wanted to know if gas motor boats had been outlawed yet.

5:55 p.m. A man said he let some friends move in about three months ago and they were only supposed to stay two weeks. He wanted to know about the eviction process.

Friday, May 2

10:06 a.m. Golf clubs reported stolen on Barkley Lane.

11:32 a.m. Two cyclists on Iron Horse Drive were advised of biking rules after they were seen riding all over the road.

2 p.m. A garden hose was sliced at a home on East 6th Street.

Saturday, May 3

12:09 p.m. A construction trailer was broken into on U.S. 93 South.

3:06 p.m. An 11-month-old was accidentally locked inside a car at Smith Fields.

Sunday, May 4

1:39 a.m. Two men punched each other outside of a bar on Central Avenue. Two women tried to break up the fight.
