Bob Rupp will return as general manager of the Glacier Twins “A” team for the upcoming American Legion Baseball season. Rupp coached the Twins to a 29-25 overall record last season.

He will be assisted by veteran coaches Jeremy Nielsen, Scott Murray and Kevin Slaybaugh.

The “B” team head coach this year will be longtime Twin’s assistant Seth Carr. Moving up from Babe Ruth, Treyson Hopkins will make his Twins coaching debut this season and be re-united with Carr as his assistant coach.

The Twins kick off the 2014 season with their annual Black and White Game on April 20. The following weekend, April 26-27, the Twins will be hosting the inaugural Glacier Twins Round Robin Tourney with two teams from Missoula and both the Twins “A” and “B” teams participating.

The Glacier Twins annual meeting will be Wednesday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the Grouse Mountain Lodge conference center in Whitefish.

This is a mandatory meeting for all new and returning players. They must bring at least one parent or guardian. Player handbooks, game schedules, travel and tourney information, pre-season conditioning and practices, fees, season passes and other information will be discussed and available.

Twins coaches will be introduced at the meeting.
