Monday, July 21

10:48 a.m. Banners were cut down along Wisconsin Avenue.

2:23 p.m. Report of $800 in cash missing from a home on Scott Avenue.

4:17 p.m. Transients were sleeping at the old hospital.

9:28 p.m. Three men at City Beach were swearing at people on the beach. They were counseled.

Tuesday, July 22

8:19 a.m. A locked vehicle has its window smashed out on Edgewood Place. A purse was stolen.

9:05 a.m. A man told police he believes a suspicious substance was put in his wife’s drink while downtown the previous night. She was acting strangely and could hardly walk.

10:35 a.m. A vehicle had its window smashed out on Cedar Street.

2:40 p.m. Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Colorado Avenue.

5:02 p.m. Report of threats made over a homeowner association dispute on Creek View Court. One neighbor allegedly said he would be the last man standing.

Wednesday, July 23

3:08 a.m. Report of a skinny scruffy man and a woman acting suspiciously on Barkley Lane.

8:17 a.m. An intoxicated man lying in the grass along Hospital Way got a little lippy with a concerned caller. The caller was concerned the man might stumble into traffic.

9:03 a.m. A caller was concerned about a vendor at the farmers market who had a sign depicting a hand gun that read “I don’t call 911.” The caller said this was offensive and sent the wrong message to people.

9:13 a.m. Report of a vehicle break-in on Colorado Avenue. A marriage license and social security card were missing from the glove box.

11:20 a.m. Report of a suspicious man in a white van seen taking photos of a teenage girl.

5:14 p.m. Lines were cut to a satellite TV dish on Park Avenue.

8:09 p.m. Report of a purse stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Wisconsin Avenue.

Thursday, July 24

9:10 a.m. Someone squirted mustard and ketchup on the side of a downtown building.

11:56 a.m. Report of a disorderly man at a home on Copperwood Court. The man was acting strangely and violently toward a woman.

4:24 p.m. Cymbals were stolen from a vehicle on Central Avenue.

6:20 p.m. A caller complained about the traffic being backed up due to road construction. She said it was bad for the people who live in town and the visitors, but had no suggestions about what should be done.

8:40 p.m. A woman had a nasty letter left on her vehicle criticizing the way she parked. The letter used expletives to describe her parking issues.

Friday, July 25

3:09 p.m. A woman was stuck inside a pickup while her husband was in the bowling alley.

11:08 p.m. Report of a man with no shirt fighting in a bar downtown.

Saturday, July 26

2:26 a.m. Report of a huge fight downtown involving 20 people.

3:14 p.m. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Woodside Lane.

5:57 p.m. Fishing gear was stolen from a vehicle on Baker Avenue.

Sunday, July 27

7:58 p.m. Report of residents on Nelson Lane shooting beer cans with a BB gun. They were playing a drinking game.
