Marian T. Franze

Marian T. Franze, 89, passed away July 9 with family and friends by her side.

Marian was born Oct. 20, 1924 in Lakefield, Minn. She was the youngest of 12 children born to John and Theresa (Felix) Navara. She married John R. Franze of Battle Lake, Minn., on Feb. 26, 1949. They welcomed their beloved daughter, Karen, on June 6, 1960 in Great Falls.

Marian enjoyed golfing, sewing, playing cards, reading and spending time with friends and family.

The past 10 years she lived at the Mountain View Manor where she made many friends and enjoyed playing bingo, pot-luck get togethers, and working jig-saw puzzles with her friend Ettie.

She was a member of the Moose Lodge and Christ Lutheran Church.

Marian is survived by Karen and Les Taylor; her favorite grandsons, Michael and Connor; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers, three sisters, and her beloved Johnny.

Her celebration of life will be July 24 in the community room at the Mountain View Manor, 100 4th St., Whitefish, with Pastor John Bent officiating. Memorials may be sent the Shepherd’s Hand Clinic .
