Carnival coronation a success

by King Ullr LII and Queen of the Snows

The coronation of King Ullr LV Mark Svennungsen and Queen of the Snows Sue Schenck was a great event and we’d like to thank a few people for making it so exciting.

Prime John Peschel and his creative snow throne building crew did an awesome job. John’s son Matthew was a perfect “snow stomper.”

Our dear Duchess Vicki Hill was nothing short of awesome as she led other Duchesses and a flash mob of high school kids in some fun Las Vegas-style dance routines. Vicki — You rock!

Our Prince Frey Shane Marcial was out of sight as Elvis.

Thanks to the Great Northern Brewery for letting us hide out there.

Finally, a special thanks to Mike Eldred for donning a Lonnie Porro-inspired woodsman’s outfit to recite, quite eloquently, a tribute to King Ullr.

My only worry was for Duchess Miriam Lewis who was whisked away by a particularly imposing Yeti at the end of the evening. I hope we see her again!  Thanks everyone!
