Police calls: Stuffed wolverine goes missing

Monday, Jan. 13

11:10 a.m. A resident on West 5th Street complained about snow being plowed onto his property.

12:20 p.m. Report of batteries stolen from U.S. 93 South.

Tuesday, Jan. 14

1:22 p.m. Report of a suspicious man with a concealed weapon in front of a restaurant on U.S. 93 South.

4:48 p.m. Report of a stolen computer on Texas Avenue. It also appeared a purse was rummaged through.

4:50 p.m. A resident on Spokane Avenue said he was shoved and scratched by his wife. He didn’t want her to get in trouble, but wanted it documented so she couldn’t turn it against him.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

2:02 a.m. Two intoxicated people were lost on West 2nd Street. Police showed them the way home.

2:15 a.m. Two intoxicated men were sitting in the middle of West 2nd Street. One man was seen taking off his clothes and throwing them on the ground. The two then began pushing each other. A taxi gave the men a ride to their hotel.

Thursday, Jan. 16

1:49 p.m. A poorly parked vehicle had to be towed out of deep snow on the shoulder of Woodside Lane. The vehicle owner said his wife was to blame.

5:12 p.m. A resident on Central Avenue said the city plowed snow right in front of her driveway. She was advised to call Public Works.

Friday, Jan. 17

2:36 a.m. Report of a man and woman involved in a physical altercation on West 5th Street.

11:59 a.m. Report of a diamond watch stolen from a Suncrest Drive home.

6:27 p.m. Traffic lights from JP Road south were out.

9:23 p.m. An Iowa Avenue resident said his drunk father slashed the tires on his car.

Saturday, Jan. 18

3:28 p.m. Report of a dog attacking another dog on West 3rd Street.

Sunday, Jan. 19

3:56 a.m. Report of a stuffed wolverine stolen from a lodge on Wisconsin Avenue.

8:19 a.m. A vehicle crashed into a fence and tree on Dakota Avenue.

7:26 p.m. Report of a truck covered in mud on Edgewood Place. The reporting caller said mud was so thick the driver couldn’t even see out of his windows.
