Lady Dogs look to take on Polson

The Whitefish girls basketball team suffered another conference loss Saturday after a cold shooting night against top-rated Columbia Falls.

The Wildkats jumped out to a 21 point lead in the first quarter en route to a 73-20 Northwest A victory at Whitefish.

Makenna Benbrook led the Lady Dogs with seven points.

The loss dropped Whitefish to 0-7 in the conference and 1-16 overall. The girls travel to Polson on Feb. 22 for their final chance to get a league win before the divisional tournament.

On Thursday, Class B Plains topped Whitefish 54-15. Anna Peterson had four points for the Lady Dogs.
