Progress, change at our schools

We toured the new high school last week and both came away amazed at the space. It made us want to be a student again.

But we are learning more about how classes will be taught in that new space and that excites us even more.

For almost three years, Whitefish High School teachers have been going through rigorous professional development that will bring their teaching techniques into the 21st century.

These teachers are flying high with their newly honed skills and they are excited about the impact those skills will have on their students. Just ask them.

We are advocates of all disciplines of our high school, but more important, we are advocates of progress and change.

Parents and concerned citizens, take the time to educate yourselves on the new teaching techniques your kids will experience in the fall. Talk to teachers and go to classes.

To set up an appointment to attend class, call the high school at 862-8600 or the District Office at 862-8640.

Open your minds to new opportunities and be encouraged that we are on the right track to a better learning environment for our kids.
